What is eye lift surgery (blepharoplasty)?

Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that alters the appearance of the area around your eyes by removing excess skin, fat deposits, or muscle from the upper or lower eyelids. It is commonly used for aesthetic purposes to remove unwanted skin, bags below the eyes, or unsightly drooping, but it can also address medical issues such as impaired vision or dry eyes caused by baggy lids.
